Federal Reserve Audit Bill Overwhelmingly Passes The House
alo….while they are at it… lets take a look at the house it self… get rid of all those taxpayer funded perks they have….
Generous taxpayer-funded pensions for members of Congress have remained the same even through the economic downturn, despite millions of Americans losing their pensions. They are eligible for a pension after 5 years of service, though the amount they receive is determined by years of service. The average pension is around $55,000 a year.
The Office of the Attending Physician is a medical clinic funded primarily with taxpayer funds offering complete primary care and diagnostic services, plus premium specialist care if needed, to members of Congress. Members can pay a low flat yearly fee for unlimited care ($503 in 2009). In 2010, $3.8 million was allocated to run the clinic. While most Americans pay expensive premiums even for mediocre care, Congress has to pay very little to get American-funded premium healthcare.
Congress spends millions of taxpayer money to upgrade to business class on flights.
and there’s more where that came from…..
